At Heat Dept., we aim to deliver your orders quickly, safely, and reliably. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, handle, and deliver your purchases.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed.
During high-demand periods or promotional sales, processing may take slightly longer.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We use trusted carriers to ship all orders. Typically Canada Post, USPS, and UPS
Standard shipping generally takes 3–14 business days within North America.
Estimated delivery times will become available once your order has been shipped, but are not guaranteed due to carrier delays beyond our control.
Heat Dept. does not ship internationally at this time.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight, size, and destination.
Occasionally, Heat Dept. may offer free shipping promotions – these will be displayed on the website.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
You can monitor the shipment through the carrier’s website.
On the Track Your Order page, you can enter your order number and email address to view the tracking status.

5. Address Accuracy

Ensure your shipping address is complete and correct.
Heat Dept. is not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect addresses.

6. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us immediately.
We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue or arrange a exchange/refund if deemed necessary.

7. Shipping to the United States

All Heat Dept. orders ship from Canada. Prices shown at checkout do not include any taxes, duties or import fees that may be charged by the US.

Customs Duties & Import Fees – shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees once the package arrives at the border. These charges are not included in the order and are the sole responsibility by you.

Customs Processing & Acceptance – orders may be processed and cleared by customs officials may:

Inspect the package;
Request additional information from the recipient;
Assess duties or taxes before releasing the shipment.

Heat Dept. has no control over customs decisions, processing times, or additional charges. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your package will be required to clear customs, and agree to pay any applicable fees to accept the package.
